Whisper Wine Bar

A Little Piece of France in Fremantle

Welcome to Whisper Wine Bar — the best place in Perth’s port city to enjoy fine wine and delicious hors d’oeuvres in an elegant historic building.

Former Parisien Thierry Rodari has created a friendly, vibrant venue where you can catch up with friends for a lunchtime snack, after work or before a movie or dinner.

Whisper Wine Bar is only metres from the famous Cappucino Strip — the heart of Fremantle’s nightlife. Yet it enjoys a quiet location in the grounds of a restored 19th Century limestone flour mill that has been converted into elegant town houses modelled on a mews in Provence.

Sit outside and watch the world go by, enjoy a craft beer at a bar table downstairs or take a comfortable lounge chair upstairs and sample the duck terrine with a baguette and glass of champagne.

Whisper Wine Bar — a little bit of peace in a noisy world.

Testimonials

Fabulous small wine bar in the heart of Fremantle. Have visited a few times, service always excellent, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Wine selection great with some different choices - makes a nice change, well priced also. I have to thank the bar man who enquired about my day in mentioning it was my mums birthday he acknowledged this a couple of times and then spoilt her with a very gooey, yummy chocolate lava cake - most impressed will be back!

Epic. A little slice of France, in the heart of Freo. Friendly staff, delicious wine and tasty platters. The benches out the front are a great way to spend an evening with good friends and even better vino!

Wow. This is a lovely, quaint, quiet, off the main street wine bar. Fantastic wine choice with wonderful wines. The tappas here have a French influence. With wonderful results. Hunt this wine bar down and make a point of visiting when you visit Fremantle. It really is worth it.

Perfect afternoon. We stopped by randomly before a wedding recently and had a few red wines with a cheese and meat platter. The food, drinks, service, view, ambience and baguettes ! were all perfect. It was the nicest place to stop and was really relaxing and pleasant. I would book a little party there upstairs for sure. What a beautiful heritage building. Great music really topped off our lazy afternoon. Thank you!
